Convening a day of community and discussion to examine the spectrum of opportunities and implications related to Blockchain & distributed ledger technology in numerous public and private contexts.
Sunday, September 8th, at NedSpace, 711 SW Broadway, Suite #1100
Blockchain and distributed ledger technologies have captured interest and investment from all corners of the globe thanks to growing media attention. This makes the examination of how these technologies work, how their value can be harnessed and the impacts on society a valuable endeavor. In our own backyard, the State of Oregon with others have placed bets on Oregon’s place in the future of the technology via the Oregon Enterprise Blockchain Venture Studio.
We’ll seek to focus discussions on the applications and implications of blockchains and distributed ledger technology through various lenses: Governance, Business, Law, Finance, Privacy, Government, Smart Cities, Supply Chain, Transportation & Logistics
Enterprise Blockchain Camp provides a space for attendees who range from those curious about how it applies to business, perhaps theirs, to Senior-level software architects, and thinkers building and envisioning the future of the technology. However, the theme of the day will be focused on the application of these technologies in the context of business, government, law, cybersecurity, and others of a growing list of applications testing distributed ledgers and decentralized models. The best part is that the attendees create the agenda and vote with their feet!
Enterprise Blockchain Camp is a participant-driven un-conference event taking place Sunday, September 8th from 9 AM – 5:30 PM. Open space events provide a venue for attendees to drive the content. Attendees will meet and greet, post subjects for talk/session/demo/facilitated and then break out during the six session blocks. Meals are provided and special diets will be accommodated to the extent possible.
Who Will Be There?
Of course, we’re not just “hoping for the best” that folks with expertise and insight will just show up! We are specifically inviting some key people from the area and beyond who are helping to shape the future of decentralization…
